Coat can have many colors and is long and flowing.

Temperament: quiet breed, friendly, active, playful, and very intelligent. It is a healthy and happy companion dog and good for families with children. The Little Lion Dog needs human interaction and does not like being alone. They are small, but not fragile. Suitable for small apartements. The Lowchen does not bark much and has a lot of energy, but is not nervous.

Originates from Germany, they are assertive, outgoing, active, proud, fearless, vigorous, quick and alert and have a short and smooth coat. They look like a small doberman.

This dog has a gracile body structure but has the temperament of a big dog. He can handle kids well and can live in small apartements and is suitable for seniors.

Good for adults and teenagers, not for small children as they play too rough with the fragile dog.

The dog is clean, easy to groom and funny and a very alert watch dog, for this reason he likes to bark which can be a bit disturbing.

This is a small dog and part of the German Spitz breed (Dwarf Spitz)

The nice coat is fairly easy to groom.

They are friendly, playful, protective, fearless and may bark a lot. They are nervous, extroverted and require attention. They have to be trained well as puppies to prevent or correct any vicious behavior.

Not recommended for families with small children as they are too fragile. Good for seniors who live alone in apartments.

The poodle has a long history, likes water, is easy to teach and very intelligent. He is very attached and needs love, but don’t spoil him too much.

The small size of Tea cup Poodles is the dubious effort of breeders to produce smaller sizes of poodles. For this reason these dogs may have more genetic diseases than the standard poodle. The tea cup poodle does not need much space and no yard.

Toy Fox Terrier

Life span: 13 to 14 years

Small muscular and athletic dogs, active and intelligent. It does not bark very much, is trainable, is easy to groom and a good companion dog for older or disabled people.

This dog is small, long legged with a short coat which is groomed easily. He is attached to people. He is clean, quick and easy going. He does not bite visitors, just barks to announce them. They are teachable and easy to train. He loves to go for long walks outside where he can run around. He likes to run along beside you while you are jogging and prefers warm climates.

Yorkshire Terrier

A small dog breed of terrier type, colour of coat may take three years to develop and is usually black/grayish. The dog is active, curious, overprotective, needs attention and barks a lot.

This small dog was originally used to hunt rats but became a fashion dog later on.

The Yorkshire Terrier is a fearless “hero” as he confronts even bigger animals. A healthy “Yorkie” is robust, alert, smart and funny, but not suitable for kids.

He doesn’t need much space and can live in small apartements. You have to spend some time in grooming the silky coat.

Suitable: not for beginners

This dog has a very high intelligence, is energetic, curious, fearless and has strong hunting and social instincts. It is a well behaved companion dog, if trained well.

His skin is hairless but wounds heal quickly. He is a healthy, active dog, easy to train and friendly towards strangers.
